Whoa!

So here is our little messy girl. Actually it's not her fault. Braden has been letting her suck on candy!!!!! Well, we've been feeding her peppermint water to help w/ the colic and all I do is put a peppermint candy in like 3 oz of water. So Braden has the bright idea to just let her lick the peppermint. Mmmm not so sure if it's the BEST idea - but she seems to be enjoying herself every time he does it. But NOW Braden is not only letting her have peppermints, but lick gummy bears, fruit snacks, and even gum (he just lets her lick it of course). This is not a mom thing - it's a dad thing. I just let him go. Gotta love it :)

Perfect Blessing for Perfect Baby

Sunday, February 7th was Evie's blessing day. Braden did such a great job - even though he said his jaw was quivering! We were so worried about Evie screaming through the blessing, BUT she slept through it! Wahoo! We had a lot of friends and family there - thanks everyone for supporting us on Evie's special day! Here are a few picts from the day . . .

Evie Grace is 3 Months Old!

It's true! Miss Evie is 3 months old! She is getting so big! Well, she's big for me! She almost weighs 10 lbs now! Which in reality a lot of babies weigh that much at their 2 week appointment - but she's perfect just the way she is :) Tiny beany - and we love her! Evie is FINALLY getting out of the colicky stage! And now that I've said that we're going to have a colicky day . . . . hahaha. I pretty much feel like an expert when it comes to colic - thinking about writing a book or something :) Anyways! Evie is so alert and it's so much fun! Every night we have our "nightly conversation" and we (I) talk about everything that happened that day. Evie cracks up, Braden rolls his eyes, and by the time I'm done my head usually hurts from talking like a retard for so long!

Here are a few things about Evie at 3 months:

• Binkey = Savior
• Daddy's girl for sure
• Toot
• LOVES bath time
• HATES getting dressed after bath time
• Eating 3 oz. every 3 hours
• Toot
• Tried rice cereal in her bottle
• Graduated from sleeping in car-seat to sleeping in mom & dads bed (Note: Evie has a crib and bassinet that she refuses to sleep in . . . crap)
• Toot
• Tries to chew on her fists all day (if wearing a long sleeve shirt both sleeves are soaking wet)
• Follows things with her eyes
• Toot
• Holds toys in her hands
• Loves her mommy's kisses! (for sure)
• AND toots like crazy :)

Evie and Daddy!

On Friday I left Evie and Braden and went to a baby shower for my friend. I was only gone about an hour and this was how I found my babies! When Evie is totally zonked she sleeps with her arms in the air like this. Love it!
